Description of the Drum Beater
The drum beater works exceptionally through and is especially efficient and productive. The construction is solid and simple. The machine dedusts the hat bodies properly. The machine consists of two side walls which connect the outer covering frame. At a distance of 35 to 40 mm, bolts have been placed. On the circumference these bolts are covered with a synthetic film. They form a basket-like dust filter. The one-sided rotor throws the hat bodies against the basket whereby the continuous beating an the steel basket effects a dedusting of the hat bodies. A central vacuum unit eliminates the dust completely.
The normal execution is upplied with a connection socket for the vacuum extraction. On request, a dust exhaustor can be built in which sucks off the dust completely and blows it to a dust chamber.
Generally, we supply the machine with connected electro-motor including Vbelt drive and electrical connections. When ordering, please specify electrical data. On request, we build the machine also for transmission drive.
Production
On filling approximately 30 to 50 hat bodies depending on weight. The beating time is approx. 2 to 5 minutes.
Working Process
Through a special feeding basket on one side of the machine the hat bodies are fed to the working part and after 2 to 5 minutes of beating time, the bodies are supplied to a storage basket by moving a special lever whereby the machine has not to be stopped.
